Can someone explain with detail what a pre settlement lawsuit loan is?

Question: How does a lawsuit loan work?? Do I have to pay it back with interest? Is there a minimum I can request? I am currently awaiting a settlement from a personal injury from a car accident....how can this be a positive thing to get a loan???

Answer: It is a loan contingent on your settlement. They will loan you money and you GIVE them rights to your settlement to get their money back when the settlement is paid out. NOTHING is free and these types of loan transactions will cost you plenty. There will most likely be a high dollar amount of fees and cost they will attach to the transaction. If you really need some of the money to live and pay bills then you must do what you need to do. I strongly advise against these types of loans as they can be close to scandalous. BE SURE you talk with more than one company, ASK/DEMAND references and check the BBB. This is your money, you most likely have already given or will give your attorney 1/3 of the total. One last note, see what your local banker will do for you. Good Luck

Why my lawsuit loan is declined ?

Question: Recently I submitted application for lawsuit loan or lawsuit funding and to my astonishment they rejected me. I heard that in this industry, pretty much they have high acceptance rate since they don't require any credit check. I was told that they were unable to fund my case without any clearer explanation, does anyone know what are the typical reasons that make your lawsuit funding loan rejected?

Answer: obviously you have a lousy case. Nobody loans money to anyone unless two things come together: There is a good chance they will get the money back They can actually make some money off of the loan Lending money is not charity...it's a for profit business. Assuming you really do have a good case, get yourself a good contingency lawyer and let them underwrite the costs for the case, being prepared to compensate him richly for his largess. If a contingency lawyer won't take your case, it's a pretty good bet that you don't have a winner. Why do you need a loan anyhow? That makes little to no sense.
