How do you tell if your part of a class action lawsuit?

Question: After doing a little research regarding a school I previously attended (IADT Detroit) I learned that there are numerous reports about a class action lawsuit being filed against many schools linked to the CEC (Career education schools) IADT being one of them. They have been linked to providing their students with false information in order for students to enroll just to gain their federal student loan money. Such as employment rates after graduating and "experienced faculty" to name just a few. I, myself, have also been duped and am curious, since there's not much information yet, (the news just broke in August) how would I find if I am included in all of this, or if anyone else has heard information about the lawsuit, or possible lawsuit.

Answer: the research is up to you. find out what years are involved in the suit, if the years you attended are involved, and if so, you as a student should find out what law firm is handling the suit and register as a complainant. if the years you attended are not involved, you are not involved.
